With this game, turn the 'switch' on the top of the Cheat Device to the 'off' position while booting the game and loading your saved game. Then, when in the game, turn the switch to the 'on' position. And, to save, switch the switch to the 'off' position. Whenever the game seems locked up, turn the switch down and it will continue.
